- more commonly known as the skull and is made up of 4 separate bones
Vertebrae

- together, the vertebrae make up the spinal column
- the spinal column is composed of 7 cervical, 12 thoracic and 5 lumbar vertebrae
Humerus
- a long bone
- makes up the entire upper arm
Rib Cage
- the ribs are flat bones
- made up of 12 pairs of ribs

- make up the palm of the hand
