In 1987 movie Innerspace, a military pilot was miniaturized and injected into the body of an unknowing recipient. Traveling along the major systems of the human body allowed the pilot to get a first hand look at blood cells the size of soccer balls and blood vessels the size of subway tunnels.

Could you imagine traveling around inside someone’s body?

Much like in the above movie, it’s now your turn to "miniaturize" and travel through the human body. You will trace the path of "OHTWO", the oxygen molecule, from its entry point at the nostril to its role in internal respiration and energy production at the gastrocnemius (calf) muscle.

The molecule’s journey will be presented in the first person as "OHTWO". You will be "OHTWO". You will describe your journey, naming and describing each system, organ, tissue, role in energy production and experience as you pass through each part of the body.

You may choose to present the journey in any format of your liking. Some possible choices may include a written blog, a video diary or podcast story.
